A.W. Krasnapolsky lays the foundation for the legacy we all know today. The Tailor's concept is based on the original craft of founder A.W. Krasnapolsky. High-quality, tailor-made cocktails are served in an interior with tailoring accents throughout the bar. The bespoke cocktails refer to all kinds of fabrics such as cotton and velvet, lights are made from ribbons and the carpet has been stitched beautifully. In short: a fantastic combination of taste and experience!

Every Thursday from 8pm to midnight, our DJ will provide a special evening, with talented live performers such as singers, saxophonists, guitarists and more. And for those who appreciate the finer sounds of jazz, come and enjoy a beautiful Jazz trio on the second and last Sunday of the month, from 5pm to 9pm, who will serenade you with their soulful melodies.
The team of Bar The Tailor created together with the Dutch Distiller Wynand Fockink, a unique menu with tailor-made cocktails. These cocktails are very exclusive and especially developed for Bar The Tailor.
The cocktails consist of very exclusive homemade infusions, liqueurs and soda. Drinks are given a completely new dimension with, among other things, tabacco bitters and special perfumes. The all-determining “finishing touch” is what it’s all about at Bar The Tailor!
Around the corner of Bar The Tailor in the "Pijlsteeg" you will find the Dutch distillery Wynand Fockink. The history of this authentic tasting room dates back to 1679 when Wynand Fockink buys his own distillery and soon opens a tasting room where guests can try and buy the rich range of liqueurs. At Bar The Tailor you will find the best gins and liqueurs Wynand Fockink has to offer.
